CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI. – The Steel announce they have recently signed forward Noah Grolnic to a tendered contract.
Grolnic has played with the Colorado Thunderbirds 16U AAA since 2020. In that time, he’s played in 153 games tallying 151 points. This passed season, his 45 goals was a mark that lead his team and was eight in the entire league.
In addition, Grolnic has advanced to the USA Hockey National Player Development Camp.
The Steel are excited to bring his shot to Chippewa Valley and wish him congratulations on advancing to the USA Hockey Development Camp.
A tender is a contract, of sorts, a player signs announcing his intentions to play for that particular NAHL team and that NAHL team only. Once a player signs a tender with an NAHL team, his playing rights belong to that team within the NAHL and he may not be recruited by any other NAHL team. Each team is granted ten (10) tenders – plus or minus any trades – which become active on Nov. 1. Tendered players are not eligible for the NAHL draft.
