Steel Match-up Against Magicians for Final Regular Season Series

The Steel play a home and home series as they take on the Minnesota Magicians to wrap up the 2018-2019 campaign.

Minnesota currently sits in the 2nd place in the Midwest Division with 72 points on the season. The Steel currently hold the 6th place spot in the Midwest Division. Chippewa is coming off a road game loss against the Springfield Jr. Blues last week. Camden Thiesing holds the top skater position for the Steel with 37 points followed by Jacob Dirks with 36 points and Killian Kiecker Olson with 33 points.

Minnesota has been a strong team in the Midwest Division this season being in the top two spots nearly all season. Forward Cameron Buhl has been the standout for the Magicians as he currently leads the team with 60 points. John Keranen follows him with 44 points. Last time the Magicians faced off against the Steel they were able to get two wins in that series.

Chippewa will take on the Minnesota Magicians at the Chippewa Area Ice Arena for the season finale Saturday at 7:10 p.m. for Fan Appreciation Night where fans will have the opportunity to win prizes and skate with the team post game.
